Competitive Analysis
I discovered that 2 out of the 3 apps I looked into required payment to access the premium features. While the other app was free to use, it lacked interactive features.
"When I travel, my biggest fear is that I timed everything wrong — flights, rental car pick up, hotel check-in."

Solution
Design a web-based travel planner app that will help organize and manage the next trip while collaborating with friends.
User Flow

Feature 1: Create Trip and Itinerary
Users can create new trips and itineraries for each adventure. Itineraries can be attached to a trip or created without a trip. Each Trip can be personalized with flight plans, lodging stays, and car rental information. Explore the location via map and track the weather during your stay. Users can budget their trips by utilizing the cost tracker for each expense.
Create new itinerary
Edit events within itinerary
Feature 2: Invite Friends
Users can invite their friends to either View Only or Edit Only their trips and itineraries. Users can view in real-time the edits made to ensure the group can collaborate successfully for their upcoming trips.
Feature 3: Explore
Users can explore destinations, attractions, and cuisines of their choosing by browsing the interactive carousels throughout the app. Users can easily add them to their existing itineraries or by creating a new one.
Reflection
This project provided me the opportunity to explore and showcase my creative skills in designing a web-based application. Post-bootcamp graduation, I found myself growing further away from Figma and I became worried that I was losing my skills as I focused on searching for a full-time job. I started a 100 days of design challenge focusing on Figma prototype. I took what I've learned from each challenge and applied it towards giving life to Voyage's interface. With more time, I would implement more features that Voyage is capable of such as documenting the edits the friends invited made and exploring the mobile and desktop app as well.
